Introducing TrialNet’s T1D Heroes Academy —a global alliance of type 1 diabetes (T1D) superheroes beckoned to the front lines of scientific research to benefit all humanity. These mighty and courageous heroes rise against adversity to benefit the greater good by participating in TrialNet’s free risk screening program and clinical trials. Our heroes want to help us raise awareness and they have agreed to unveil their hero personas to the world in the hope that others will join TrialNet’s T1D Heroes Academy.
