World Diabetes Day is November 14th and this year’s theme is “Access to Diabetes Care.” The UFDI, in collaboration with UF Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and the UF Health Diabetes Education & Nutrition Program, will host the UF Diabetes Family Fun Day – Education to Protect Tomorrow. The event will include a Kids Zone, Face Painting, Art Balloon, Food Truck Rally, Music, Diabetes Education, a variety of UF Health units, and more. The event is free to attend. We hope you will join us for this fun event!
In addition, the University of Florida Diabetes Institute (UFDI) celebrates “Bluevember” as a month to raise awareness about diabetes and reaffirm our commitment to improve the lives of people living with diabetes.
