Students with Diabetes National Conference

Students with Diabetes National Conference will be held in Tampa this June. Anyone ages 18-30 with diabetes is welcome to join. It will be a weekend of great speakers, fun activities, and lots of connections with others who have diabetes.

Florida Department of Health lights Florida Historic Capital Blue

At dusk on World Diabetes Day, the Florida Historic Capitol Museum will light up in blue, joining the Empire State Building, Sydney's Opera House, Niagara Falls, the Pyramids and over a thousand other iconic landmarks across the world in honoring the battle against diabetes.

Century Tower Lighting Event

Please join us and the rest of the Gator nation as we light the tower in recognition of World Diabetes Day. The annual Tower Lighting Ceremony is set to take place Friday, Nov. 18 at Century Tower. The ceremony enforces the world’s commitment to Diabetes awareness and advocacy.

Artificial Pancreas Advocacy Campaign

Last week JDRF launched the Artificial Pancreas Campaign. Now, they need your help. You can help the FDA understand what having access to the Artificial Pancreas will mean to those living with diabetes by signing a petition. The goal of the initiative is to convince the FDA to adopt the recommendations of clinical experts to advance the development of an artificial pancreas, a device which has the potential to be the most revolutionary advancement in the treatment of T1D since the discovery of insulin.
