The University of Florida Diabetes Institute (UFDI) is pleased to announce their inaugural seed funding grants. The UFDI Grants will support researchers proposing innovative ideas. The seed funding grant award program will provide resources to generate preliminary data to support an extramural grant proposal. Full completed proposals are due November 21, 2025 on InfoReady. A one-year Progress Report is required to be submitted to the UFDI by January 31, 2027.

- Linking tissue signatures with circulating biomarkers
- Drug discovery and repurposing
- Spatial biology

- Biomarkers for drug response
- Metabolic impacts on inflammation and immunity
