Ashby Walker, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Services Research, Management & Policy, and Director of Behavioral Research at the UF Diabetes Institute, will be teaching the T1D Directed Research Course in the 2024 Spring Semester. The course aims to expose students to the following: (1) knowledge of the major types of research methods utilized in T1D research, (2) exposure to the T1D research labs and programs at UF and related career trajectories, and (3) recognition of potential bioethical issues in T1D research. The course is open to both undergrads (HSC4930) and graduate students (HSA6930).
