UF professor receives AADE award for diabetes research

AnastasiaAOAssistant Professor Anastasia Albanese-O’Neill, Ph.D., College of Nursing, received the 2015 Innovative Use of Media Technology Award from the American Association of Diabetes Educators. As the recipient of this award she will receive $3,000 for the development and/ or implementation of a concept for the innovative use of media and technology to advance diabetes self-management education and training. The project will have the potential to significantly improve self-management among individual patient practices for broad diabetes populations. She is also invited to present this project at the AADE’s 2016 conference.
