Miriam Cintron, Research Coordinator
Ms. Miriam Cintron began working at the UF Diabetes Center of Excellence in 2007 as the research coordinator on four clinical studies: Cord Blood Studies (phases 1 and 2), Neulasta/GCSF Study, and the Osiris/Prochymal® Clinical Trial. Ms. Cintron works very closely with Dr. Michael Haller, who is the Principal Investigator (PI) of these studies. As research coordinator, her responsibilities include: enrolling and screening of potential study participants, coordinating and monitoring follow-up visits for participants, documenting and maintaining participant files and study regulator documents. In addition, she is also responsible for updating and submitting study documents to the UF Institutional Review Board (IRB). Prior to becoming a part of the UF Diabetes Team, Ms. Cintron received her Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, and worked in the research field for over 20 years.
